Howdy! Assalamualaikum! Namaste!

I started as a private personal blogger on Querencia in January 2008. Shifted to WordPress as The Word Trance to explore the creative genre of writing from January 2013 until January 2016. Relaunching my blog as a Muslim Lifestyle blog to record this beautiful journey of life, review products and meet other writer friends!

I talk about Motherhood – its different facets, its unique situations and the everyday learning you do as a parent. I shall be reviewing different baby/mom products that I have used and really approve of. I intend to curate posts and update resource list important to moms here in Qatar.

My Faith (Islam) is an important part of my life and hence I shall write about Islamic traditions and rules in relation to motherhood and our Muslim lifestyle in general.

I am a Dentist by profession with over 3+ experience years in Qatar, hence my posts will have a tinge of dental facts, especially Paediatric Dentistry.

I was once a book lover – now two tiny hands conquer the pages of my books, yet I try to keep up with my interest – A book review or two can be often seen on my blog.

This blog is an extension of me and an outlet for my creative interests. Only posts, products and brands whose values match with mine shall be present on my blog.

A dentist by profession. Mom of two lovely girls. currently a stay at home mom to my lovely and hyperactive one-year-old. Indian by birth and a nomad at heart. Have lived in Doha all my life (except for the undergrad years in Bangalore, India), now raising our little family here. I have a piece of fabric over my head, not that it should make a difference since it really doesn’t cover my brain, just my hair!

I am a typical INFJ who gains her energy from silence, introspection and dreaming – things rarely possible after being a mom. I value my family and my loved ones and my day begins and ends with them. Alhamdulilah.

Passionate about my Faith, Dentistry, Creative Writing, Books, and of late,  the different aspects of Gentle & Natural Parenting.

I can be found forever tweeting at @iihahs. For any further queries, contact me.

I’ve looked around your blog, and I really like it. So I hope you don’t mind if I nominate you for the Leibster Award. If you choose to accept it, that would be great! If not, it’s your choice and I’m completely fine with that. (I know you’ve already been nominated for the sunshine award. Someone got here first before me. Grrrr….)
