This post is part of the A to Z Challenge. My theme for the month is A to Z of words in English with an Arabic origin.
Vizier – The only place I have come across this word commonly is while reading Akbar and Birbal stories as a child.

The word reminds me of the movie Aladdin where the Grande Vizier was not a liable character. I am enjoying the ‘word dance’ through the alphabet Shahira and am intrigued by how many words in the English language have such a rich heritage in other cultures. Good blogging 🙂
I also thought of Aladdin when I read today’s word! Love that movie and I love the way Vizier sounds.
